Why the channel showing a match varies from country to country
The same match can be on one channel in Spain and a different one in Italy. Here is why it happens and how to check it without mistakes.

Rights are sold per territory
Each competition sells its broadcast rights country by country. A broadcaster may hold a league in Spain but not in Italy, where someone else shows it.
One country can split the matches
Sometimes a competition's rights are split between several platforms: some rounds on one broadcaster, others on another. That is why we flag partial or shared coverage, and we never claim a channel shows everything when it does not.
Event-specific broadcast information takes priority
If there is a confirmation for a particular match, it takes precedence over the competition's general rule. That way we do not show a generic channel when we already know the right one.
Language does not change the country
Reading DóndeLoPonen in English does not select any country's broadcasts automatically. On each event page, confirmed broadcasts are grouped by country, regardless of language.
What to do when travelling
- Find the country you will watch from on the event page.
- Check the time in the time zone selected at the top of the page.
- We only show a country's broadcasters once the broadcast is verified. If that country is not listed, we do not have that information yet.
